Flat in the heart of Cologne downtown
The apartment is located in a quiet pedestrian street in the heart of Cologne's historic downtown, in the street "Seidmacherinnengäßchen" (There is NO place more central than here in Cologne!), directly at Haymarket (Heumarkt), 150m away from the Rhine! Within walking distance are numerous restaurants, bars, pubs and supermarkets. Cologne railway station is only 450m away, the famous Cologne cathedral (Kölner Dom) just 250m away and the shopping streets such as "Hohe Straße " just 250m walking distance.
You can reach the Cologne trade fair by S-Bahn or U-Bahn in 4 minutes, or you can also go there on foot within 25-30min.
Taking here as a start point, you can definitely explore Cologne at best on foot.
For trade fair visitors:
From here you walk to the Cologne railway station, go to platform 10 and take the train (S-Bahn), no matter which line, to Cologne trade fair in only 4 min (only one stop, in 2-3 min intervals)!
From here you walk to Heumarkt metro station (U.Bahn), take line 1 or 9, to Cologne trade fair in only 4 min (only 2 stops, in approx. 5 min intervals)!
Also the best choice for tourists!
From here walk to the Cologne railway station, go to platform 10 and take the train (S-Bahn) line 13, you can get to the Cologne / Bonn airport in 14 minutes, or take other local trains to get to the airport in 10min; or taking trains even get to the Dusseldorf airport in 30 minutes! The most famous Cologne's landmark, the Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom) is about 250m away. The beautiful Rhine promenade is almost in front of your door (150m), where you can take a walk.
Both rooms have windows. The holiday rental has very good facilities, really offers a lot of comfort: spacious rooms, high-quality furniture, big LCD TV. One room has cathedral (Dome) view!
